Sinfonietta No. 1 is a challenging work that provides the opportunity to combine classical techniques with rhythmic variety. The 9 minute work starts with an exciting unison for all sections of the orchestra. All sections of the orchestra share melodic material during the course of the piece. Starting in e minor, the passionate and flowing mid-section moves into G major.
